Thanks Sean.
Whilst news of Mogwai shows is always welcome, it's disappointing to see so little imagination/variety/call it what you will in Mogwai's UK touring itineraries over the last five years.
[NB - these comments were made when it appeared that that the UK tour would consist only of the three dates listed above, and are unreservedly withdrawn in the light of the seven further dates confirmed subsequently - Rob]
Unless they've radically altered the interior during the recent refurbishment, Birmingham Institute is markedly smaller than the other two venues and should be first choice for those wanting to avoid the enormo-barns.

a bit premature with your moaning i think Rob. ;) SB
I'll interpret that as meaning there are more shows to be added to the tour then? Yay!
Hi Rob! Enormodomes or not let's face it it's better to see Mogwai ANYWHERE than not at all or some other band in my favourite venue. OK, depends on the band but you get my drift. Am tempted to make a weekend of it in Digbeth (can show my wife the coach station) but despite its size Brixton's quite useful seeing as it's in S London and we live in Kent which is SE of London.

(but, ps, let's hope there's more shows...)
Digbeth coach station is a shadow of its former self, thankfully. It's all glass and steel these days.
Hi Graham, by the way.
Hmmm Manchester or Birmingham...
The Union gig 2 years ago was pretty good (and on my birthday) and it'll be a good chance to catch some friends, but the Brum show might be the better venue...
*crosses fingers for bristol date*
