Come On Die Young reissue

From http://www.mevio.com/shows/?show=chemikalsketch (home of the Chemikal Underground Podsketch):

The Phantom Band cuts their debut, CHECKMATE SAVAGE, on Feb 3rd. Also keep an ear out for albums from Aidan Moffat, De Rosa, Angil and Hidden Tracks, Lord Cut Glass, and Mogwai - all before Summer 09!
Presumably this is the "Come On Die Young" Deluxe Edition reissue? The 10th anniversary of the original release falls on 29th March.

Does this mean 'CODY in full' shows? A guest appearance from Swiftcover's current poster boy? I'm sure we'll find out in the fullness of time.

On a side note - that Chemikal release schedule looks pretty tasty.

Nuits Sonores

Not somewhere I'd ordinarily look for Mogwai news, but The Daily Telegraph have Mogwai down to play the Nuits Sonores Festival in Lyon (20th - 24th May)

update:
We're not doing that French festival that you mentioned on your blog. Never trust Tories. They are liars.
Thanks Stuart.

Taipei, Hong Kong, setlists

Seems Mogwai attracted a number of stalkers whilst in Taiwan last week, if the number of off-duty photos on Flickr is anything to go by.
flickr.com/search/?q=mogwai+taipei

The setlist suggests it was a long show too, and well-received if the second encore is any indication.

Anyone attend the show in Hong Kong this evening? Setlist, comments etc? Please get in touch.

On a related note - coverage of past shows always welcome, particularly missing setlists, photos, reviews etc. The Brightlight gigography suggests that Mogwai played 369 shows between 2002 and 2008, and that we're missing details for 36 of those shows. Prior to that, the picture is patchier. Please get in touch if you can fill any gaps.

Setlist for Mogwai's first show of 2009, at Tokyo's Liquid Room today (10th Jan).
