Martin sustains calf injury
Last night's Mogwai show in Copenhagen was shorter than usual due to a calf injury sustained by Martin Bulloch, necessitating spending yesterday in hospital in Copenhagen. Martin is apparently on crutches and "could be out the game for eight weeks"
Tonight's show in Hamburg is going ahead but with a replacement drummer, according to Martin's Twitter posts:

Get well soon, Martin.

Stuart interview - Clash
Stuart was interviewed by Clash at the end of last week:
http://www.clashmusic.com/news/mogwai-missive-new-ep-the-returned-and-cody-reissue-confirmed
Stuart used the published excerpt to comment further on Mogwai's recording and release plans for 2014, including the Come On Die Young reissue, the Rave Tapes follow-up ep and the second series of Les Revenants.
Apparently the interview was part of a larger feature to be published soon.

Come On Die Young reissue - summer 2014
From today's Chemikal Underground mailout:
Oh yes, attempt to contain yourself but Mogwai's 1999 opus 'Come On Die Young' - arguably Chemikal's most iconic release - is finally getting the full reissue treatment and will be with you this summer.
Following hot on the heels of the band's amazing new album 'Rave Tapes', 'Come On Die Young' will be reissued as a 4LP boxset featuring the original double album alongside a further 2LP featuring seventeen (count 'em) additional tracks.
The hour and a half of bonus material includes previously unheard Chem19 and CAVA demos, tracks from their uber-rare 'Travel In Constants EP' and an unreleased track from the Chem19 demo sessions called '7-25' .
You'll be able to pre-order the reissue by the end of April, by which time we'll have the official tracklisting and every other piece of drool-worthy detail you could possibly be after.

Further Mogwai 2014 festival dates
Confirmed in the last couple of days:
Friday 30th May: Bad Bonn Kilbi, Düdingen, Switzerland
Tip - go late and avoid Goat
Friday 18th July: Latitude Festival, Suffolk, UK
Headlining the BBC 6Music stage. Tip - go late and avoid Goat
Friday 15th August: Sonicmania, Makuhari Messe, Japan
Unbelievably, Kasabian appear to be headlining over Kraftwerk at this last event. At least that means an early night.
Update - seems Kraftwerk are headlining, thankfully.
