As those following their various Twitter accounts will already know, Mogwai have returned to the studio today.
Stuart's clearly indicated that this is not the start of work on the next album.
Update - "I played a wee bit of guitar and did some singing yesterday. Fuck all today" (Stuart, 10th August)
Update 2 - Mogwai resumed recording at the Castle Of Doom in Glasgow during the first week of October 2012
