As previously reported, Mogwai's third John Peel session, first broadcast in September 1998, is being repeated on Marc Riley's BBC 6Music show this week.
Tuesday night's track was 'Spoontest', but not the version featured in the original Peel session broadcast. This version features an additional vocal sample, which may well be film dialogue of some sort.

Update - the vocals could well have been a discussion taking place in the Marc Riley studio via a mic left open.
